Quick Start¶

Startup¶

Click launch button in Steam client, or double-click the app icon

Startup without Steam

This application can run without Steam, go to the installation folder and run launcher.exe directly. Not that in this situation you can not use all Steam related features such as Workshop and Screenshot

First launch¶

When started for the first time, it shows Tray Icon, Quick Icon, Default model and background，and Control Panel pops up

Tray Icon¶

Mainly controls some system related features. For details please refer to Tray

Can not find Tray Icon?

If you can not find it in taskbar, it may be hidden into Notification Area, just click the arrow to open the hidden icon group to find it

About Launch Mode

The application currently supports two launch modes: Wallpaper Mode and Desktop Mode. As the name suggests, Wallpaper Mode is displayed on the wallpaper layer, and Desktop Mode is displayed on the window layer. When users want to use other wallpaper software, Desktop Mode can be used for compatibility purposes

Quick Icon¶

Can be moved freely, click to expand. It is mainly for users to quickly change models, backgrounds, effects, etc., without opening Control Panel. For details please refer to Main Application 章节

Control Panel¶

Most functions are controlled here. For details please refer to Control Panel

Use Quick Menu

Quick Menu is a lite version of Control Panel, which can be opened via Quick Icon. Quick Menu is for users who only want to change models, backgrounds, effect, etc.

Interact with models

Press mouse left button and move, model will track the mouse position. Click the model will trigger motion events. Note that interactive content is based on the configuration of the model. For details please refer to Live2D

Model¶

The application supports Workshop model, LPK model and Json model, you can import LPK model and Json model from local files. For details please refer to Control Panel

Click View Workshop in Control Panel
Select Type to Live2D
Select an item and click + to subscribe
After the model is downloaded, return to Model page then you can see the model you just subscribed to

Load Model¶

The application can display 5 models at the same time, you can switch the current model slot through the slot indicator

To add a model, select a model slot and double-click a model item. If a model already exists in the current slot, it will be replaced

Green Indicator

The green indicator below the model slot indicates that a model exists in the current model slot. Click the indicator to remove the model

Black lines around the model mouth and eyes?

Please switch Compat Mode (in the bottom right corner of model page) to On and reload the model

Edit Model¶

Click Open Edit Panel in Quick Menu or click Edit button in Control Panel, Edit Panel will pop up in front of models. For details please refer to Main Application

Exit Edit Mode

Click exit icon in the top-right corner of the edit panel

Remove Model¶

Open Edit Panel, click trash bin icon in the top-right corner
Click the green indicator below the model slot

Background¶

Supports image / video, 360 image / video, and web. You can import them from local files. For details please refer to Control Panel

Click View Workshop in Control Panel
Select a background type
Select an item and click + to subscribe
After the item is downloaded, return to Backgrund page then you can see the item you just subscribed to

Change Background¶

Double click the background item

Edit Background¶

Click Edit button to open edit panel
Click Full Screen button to restore the background full screen status
Click the dropdown list to select a monitor which you want to edit the background

Remove Background¶

Click Trash Bin icon in the edit panel. After the background is removed, a solid color will be displayed

Change the color of solid background

Control Panel → Settings → Background → Background Color

Effect¶

Double-click the effect list item to set the effect, This method will remove all other effects
Click Power button on the right side of the list item to add effects, This method will not remove other effects
When you select a list item, you can see some options of the effect. The options of each effect may be different, please try it yourself

Filter¶

Same as Effect

Apply filter to background only

By default, the filter will affect both model and background. If you want to affect the background only, select Apply to background only from the drop-down menu below

Click Power button on the right of the list item to enable/disable a widget
Select a list item to change the widget options (Options shown only when the widget is enabled)
The widget can be moved freely by mouse, click the lock icon to lock the widget

Scene¶

Scene is mainly used to save the status of the current desktop for quick recovery, similar to save/load feature in the game
Scene supports import and export, can be imported on any new computer to quickly restore desktop status

About Assistant

The assistant function is used to add shortcuts. Long press the model to pop up assistant bubble
